This is a tribute to my wonderful mother Joan Adams who was taken away at the age of 57.She was a dedicated mum of three children who would do anything for anyone. She was born in 1930 and was an only child.I loved my mum because she was such a special person, she didnt have an easy life. She had severly damaged kidneys and ended up having kidney dialysis. We had a porta cabin in the garden and my dad would come home from work and dialyse her over night. In spite of all her suffering she never complained although you could see she was in a lot of pain. After years of dialysis mum was put on the transplant list but first she had to have a heart bypass op.Unfortunatly when they did the op they discovered her heart was in a very bad way.She never regained consciousness and just slipped away.It was the worst day of my life at the age of 24 ifelt totally alone as not only was she my mum but my best friend. We did everything together. At that time mum had 2 grandchildren provided by me.I had my first little girl at the age of 19 then a boy at 21.dad wasnt pleased i had them so young but looking back,i feel they arrived for a reason.Mum would not have had the pleasure of seeing any grandchildren if i hadnd had them when i did.She loved them with a passion .My mum was in my opinion the best in the whole world. She suffered so much but never complained. She was a fantastic mum always ready to listen offer support or generally be there with open arms for a hug.The one thing i remember was that she had the softest skin and when i was little i would constantly stroke her cheeks.I miss her so much and wish she was still here.I now have another 4 children and an angel baby who i hope she is taking care of.I love you mummy more than words could ever say i know you are with me.Please take care of baby Charlie for me until we can all be together again. This tribute is to a very special lady who did a lot for others often putting them before her needs.Once again love you mummy and miss you xxxxxx
